Principal Research Engineer
Emery’s PhD research area was mathematical biology (bifurcation analysis), and after a short stint in academia at the University of Michigan, he got pulled into the trading industry, and has been focused on research computation and modeling ever since. Emery now works on the interactive C++ and Python-C++ interoperability stack (Clang-REPL, CppInterOp, and cppjit) for production use at Chicago Trading Company. He contributes fixes and features upstream to CppInterOp and LLVM.
